It shows that children have a positive attitude towards physical activity, but are currently not active enough. It is a recommendation that children should be doing 30 minutes of physical activity at school (outside of P.E. lessons), and another 30 minutes at home daily! The majority of children are however, physically active for 60 minutes, 3 times per week (at school and home). The active 60 is a recommendation from the Chief Medical Officer’s guidelines for levels of physical activity of children and young people.
