Helping your child stay safe online. www.safetynetkids.org.uk provides lots of safety information including a section under ‘Personal Safety’ which focuses on online safety.

The ‘Thinkuknow’ website is an excellent resource for you and your child. The parent section https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/  has general information on keeping your child safe online as well as guides to download about popular apps your child may wish to sign up to such as ‘Whatsapp’, ‘Instagram’, ‘Snapchat’ and ‘Facebook’ to name a few. https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/Support-tools/How-to-guides/ 

Visit the main home page with your child https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/ and they can sign up to access age appropriate resources to help them learn how to keep themselves safe.
