On Monday 11th November our school will commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth serviceman and women involved in the two World Wars and later conflicts.
Poppies are worn to show support for the Armed Forces community by providing a symbol of remembrance and hope. These are provided by the British Legion and be on sale closer to the day.

We will also be creating displays around the school in preparation for Remembrance Day but to also get us all thinking about VE 75 which will be taking place next May to mark the 75th anniversary of the end of World War 2.

We need your help!
We are planning to create some amazing displays around the school using the bottom of clean empty plastic bottles!
If you are able to make the ‘poppies’ at home this would be great!
The internet provides some fantastic inspiration and there are also lots of on-line and YouTube videos.
Please ensure that internet access is fully supervised by an adult.
Any arts and craft activities should also be fully supervised.

Please then send in your poppies so we can create the displays around the school. If you are unable to make the poppies at home, please send in any clean, empty bottles before half-term.

Thank-you in advance for your support.
